Online classrooms will open in 2020. We are devising a way for your child to learn the abacus ・ mental arithmetic skills that are an important part of Japanese culture and that they can use for the rest of their lives, even online. Currently, 20 students are taking the class. The instructor herself, while raising her own children, is acutely aware of the difficulties of keeping up with the Japanese language overseas, and in order to provide opportunities to speak in Japanese with people outside the family, we offer classes in Japanese upon request. In addition, our school is a member of the North American Pearl Counting Federation, and we offer certification exams, biannual competitions, and other opportunities to not only practice with textbooks, but also to create a place to utilize your skills and demonstrate your abilities in the presence of many people.
